made-it.org works as an agency which means that we do not buy work outright. All the work you see on the website is held by our designers and we promote the products online at made-it.org. We may also try to promote your work offline at selected boutiques or other establishments which we feel are appropriately suited to your style of work.
What can we offer you?
made-it.org offers a committed sales and marketing service. We promote the website so you don't have to - after all, we know how busy you are designing and making! Our marketing strategy includes advertising in well known craft and interior publications such as Elle Decoration, Living Etc, Crafts and Selvedge. And because we're experienced in taking briefs and talking to clients on a daily basis, we're happy to speak to potential customers regards commissions etc, on your behalf.
All in all our service to you leaves more time to design and make. Leave the marketing and sales to us!
But before we start working with you...
We need to ensure that our website and organisation is suitable for your work. The process of joining made it is relatively simple.
-
First you'll need to tell us about yourself and your work. For example, what makes you tick? What materials do you work with? What education have you had? Tell us about your past, current and forthcoming exhibitions, plus any retail outlets you're currently selling through, or grants you've obtained etc. Any technical information on your craft and an artist statement would also be very helpful. All this can be emailed to us at mail@made-it.org along with a few good visuals so we can see your work.
-
If we believe we can help, we'll then send you more information about made-it.org and a contract to sign and send back.
-
We'll also send you a form to fill in about the products you would like to sell with made-it.org
If you have any queries, give us a call on 07950 266839. Or perhaps you'll find the answer on our Frequently Asked Questions page.
